Duties Perform all basic and advanced word processing functions on current software utilized by the firm including Word 2007, Excel 2007, PowerPoint 2007, iManage, and any additional software the firm utilizes in the future.?Perform extensive formatting and editing of word processing document, including advanced features such as Comparite, Table of Authorities, Table of Contents, etc.Create, edit, revise and print documents on Word Processing system, including labels, backs, fax forms, messenger request forms, and all other forms on the system.Convert documents from other software into the version we are currently utilizing.Proofread work for quality and correct formatting.Type UCC statements on the system.Assist with scanning and faxing of documents as necessary.Has experience in EDGARizing documents; understands SEC policies.?Troubleshoots documents.?Proofreads work for accuracy prior to submitting to proofreading or returning to lawyer.?Creates and revises complex legal documents, adhering to Firm guidelines.?Maintains an accurate log of the amount of time spent working on each document.?Coordinates and communicates effectively and professionally with DP Supervisor-EDGAR and other Document Processing Supervisors regarding workflow and other issues.Required Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word 2007, Windows XP, Excel 2007, PowerPoint, IManage, Visio, Edgar, Illustrator, and other related software.Competence in creating and editing financial tables quickly and accuratelyAcrobat, including extracting and converting PDF filesFamiliarization with graphics and picture manipulation, including resizing, copying, and pasting functionsFamiliarization with OCR conversion software such as OmnipageMin 4 to 5+ years' experience as a WP/Graphics specialist.?
