Freelance Motion Graphics Designer (NYC)
The candidate must be extremely detail oriented, be able to work independently and follow creative direction that will be provided over our web-based ticketing system. Work can be performed remotely although occasional on-site meetings with our Creative Director in the Flatiron to discuss work may be necessary.
Content being created will be used in private media networks on digital signage and kiosks.
This position is part-time, and freelance, for our overflow work, which may transition into full-time work depending on future need.

Qualifications

OFFICE Assistant CPU w/ minor graphics (South Norwalk)
40+ hour week during summer . . . YOU make the hourly schedule on some days, but need to be RELIABLE EVERY WEEKDAY at 8-ish AM for a 40-45 hour work week . . . We our an East Coast & West Coast open company open from 7.00 AM to 9 PM. Great for recently graduated student, or an unique individual willing to learn and tackle all aspects of an established 25 year old "small as in 3 person" Norwalk CT, but " large as in active 100,000 client seasonal" business that needs the job and work to get completed on a daily basis. Ultimate Flexibility AFTER learning and establishing a professional rapport and schedule . . . .
Helping out in everyday office ways will be the expected norm. Basic answering phones. Emailing clients, Shipping FedEx software, proofing other work as office gets bizzy. MATH skills, deadline & contractual dealings a plus. Working with everyone in a deadline necessity but very casual setting
Excel notepad, M-word a must. ESP (Email service provider) software knowledge helpful but not necessary. Visual/Motion Graphics Designer for Feature Doc (Brooklyn)
I need someone to help create an animated opening sequence (around 45 seconds) and also create a few
shorter (5-10 second) animations to be used later in the film. The goal is to create a coherent feel and design
that can also work for lower thirds.
The film addresses capoeira, the importance of tradition and Brazil's conflicted relationship with its own
African heritage.
The job is paid, but it is a low-budget project and may be best suited to someone looking to gain valuable
experience and a credit to further their career.
