The Position: Counter Manager
We are a Global Skincare Brand seeking a smart, dynamic, ambitious and high-energy sales representative with a demonstrated track record of success to support our sales team within the Henri Bendels Flagship Store.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering first-class sales, training and support to our Cosmetic Counter within Henri Bendels in New York City.

The right Candidate for this position will have great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and an outstanding work ethic. You must be highly self-motivated by nature and work well with limited supervision.You must enjoy working in a competitive and fast-paced work environment and have a strong desire to embrace and grow the brand.

Specific Responsibilities include:

? Drive daily business to reach store and brand goals
? Oversee and hire sales team
? Manage inventory and stock control
? Oversee execution of display updates
? Generate weekly and monthly promotions
? Assist with event execution and education efforts
? Represent the Brand appropriately at all times
? Offer innovative ideas and fresh point of view to build the brand
? Communicate effectively and work with the Director of Sales in order to ensure
? Ensure all SKU's are well- represented on the sales floor
? Complete daily sales reports to reflect SKUs sold and total daily sales
? Execute in-store consumer sales events.
? Help the company achieve its sales goals and work effectively with other members of the sale team

Skills & Experience
The following skills are necessary:
? 3+ years experience as a Counter Manager in a department store environment
? Excellent verbal & written communication skills
? You must be highly self-motivated, extremely energetic and a natural self-starter.
? Passion for the beauty industry with an entrepreneurial spirit
? Passion for a competitive sales environment and events.
? Work well with customers to define their needs and overcome objections
? Problem Solver- ability to resolve challenges and identify opportunities
? Organized and Reliable Team player
? Goal Orientated- Focused on achieving goals
? Experience with; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MAC operating system
? Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights,weekends and holidays
? Great image and sense of style

Experience & Qualifications:
? Degree or equivalent experience in the retail beauty industry.
? Counter Manager Experience Required.
? Strong knowledge and passion for cosmetics, fashion and consumer products in general.
