Living Environment substitute teacher wanted (Bensonhurst)

The International High School at Lafayette is seeking a long-term substitute to teach Living Environment from January 2 -- April 1, 2014.

Interested candidates should be comfortable in implementing project-based curriculum with 9th and 10th grade ELLs and possess either a sub license or NY State certification (Science or ESL). Classes are taught in 60 minute blocks.

In addition to teaching Living Environment, candidates will also be responsible for teaching advisory twice a week, leading an Independent Reading period three times a week, collaborating with another Living Environment teacher, and participating in a weekly team meeting.
