THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN NEW YORK CITY, NY

A rapidly growing advertising/design packaging company located in Manhattan is seeking an experience Accounting/Operations/Importing Manager to move up rapidly to CFO. If you have worked in advertising, fashion, wholesale and/or retail and are looking to get into a company with lots of growth, then this is the job for you.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? 3+ year of industry experience.
? MYOB accounting software required + QUICKBOOKS BUSINESS
? Previous experience with importing, logistics and custom regulations a must.
? Ideal candidate must be detail oriented, highly motivated, client facing and system savvy.
? Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Importing, Logistics and Customs
? Manage daily accounting and related administrative duties plus staff.
? G/L reconciliation, bank and credit card recon -- Accruals, journal entries, deferrals, tax returns and processing payments.
? Cost variance analysis, petty cash management, cash flow and expense analysis.
? Communicate with vendors, suppliers, employees.
? Manage accounts payable and receivable.
? Place purchase orders.
? Oversee estimates and contract agreements with clients and vendors.
? Experience working with IT people
