Temporary Recruiting Coordinator (New York City)
- Detailed oriented and can work independently
- Someone who will need little training on recruiting basics and can jump right in
- Dedicated to reviewing resumes in Jobvite, calling all candidates marked as "Please Call", perform basic phone screen and handle calendar set up for in person meetings
- Responsible for handling reference checks via phone
- Must be able to keep in touch with all candidates in process, offering updates and status of application
- Will be handling all Technology & Software Development openings (currently we have 6 openings)
- If able to, will be asked to source resumes and candidates via Linked In.
Most important piece is the ability to get through resumes and get candidates on the calendar.

Job Description: Recruiting, Retention and Training Coordinator
In order for us to accomplish our mission statement, we need to hire the best CAREGivers to work with the elderly. The statistical reality is that out of every 100 inquiries (which we get every 2-3 days), we will only end up placing one of those people in the homes of one of our elderly clients (this is a 1 % recruiting ratio). Finding that one perfect person out of 100 in the most time efficient manner is a hard job. We are looking for the best candidate to do this.
Responsibilities include:
? Outreaching to different sources of print media and volunteer organizations and in order to attract potential caregivers
? Reviewing responses from candidates interested in working with us
? Conducting preliminary telephone interviews to decide whether or not they meet our criteria
? Conducting in person interviews to those candidates we hand pick
? Conducting reference and background checks to those candidates who we interview and decide we would like to hire as CAREGivers
? Conducting in depth orientation and training sessions to those candidates who we interview and decide we would like to hire as CAREGivers
? Assist in matching these CAREGivers with elderly clients
This job is both a science as well as an art.
Science. The science is structured insofar it entails following the list of responsibilities above as per our training module.
Art. The art embedded in this job is significantly more challenging insofar that it entails understanding how to discern who to talk to, who to get back to, who to interview, who to put through orientation and who to place with what client. Remember, you need to find that 1 person out of 100 inquiring candidates.

? Relevant work experience
? The ability to follow detailed instruction. We have a system that needs to be followed exactly (if you do not like to follow established systems, please do not apply)
? The ability to properly and accurately document each day. You must be very, very organized and be able to follow instruction very well
? A get the job done attitude (including working on weekends when necessary)
? Proficiency in Word, Excel and Internet applications (no exceptions, please do not apply if you are not highly proficient in Word, Excel and Internet applications)
? You need to be good with names and faces as well as great organizational skills and focus on details
? A team player attitude along with a great desire to learn from your peers
? Good work references are a must
