Coordinates conflicts clearance for new support staff hires Firm-wide, including domestic and international offices.

Effectively communicates and coordinates the necessary steps to ensuring that proper conflicts clearance has been obtained for all new attorneys hires.
Participates in the conflicts checks of attorneys and partner.
Interacts with hiring personnel from all offices and the Corporate Library to ensure that each support staff new hire does not pose an ethical conflict for the Firm.
Reviews conflicts reports from the Corporate Library, sorts through the information and makes inquiries via e-mail to the appropriate Partners regarding pertinent conflict hits.
Creates and distributes Ethical Wall, Waivers and Conflicts memos when requested.
Follows up with Partners for Ethical Wall/Waiver corrections/revisions/approvals.
Maintains Conflicts filing system.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with clients, attorneys and staff.
Recommends and implements changes and improvements in methods and procedures to higher level management.
Interacts with Attorney Recruiting coordinators with regard to lateral and summer associates entering the firm, communications with incoming associates.
Participates in department meetings and updates all relevant coordinators, managers as to conflicts clearance status.
Prepares completed conflicts package and ensure that all materials, responses, signatures, and screening memos.

2+ years of conflicts experience in a law firm
Proficiency using MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree
