About NHACS
New Heights Academy Charter School is a college preparatory public school serving students in grades 5-12. Founded in 2006, our school has become a cornerstone in the community, graduating more than 85% of our senior classes. Our student population mirrors our upper Manhattan community -- 96% free/reduced lunch, 20% English Language Learners, and 12% Students with Disabilities. Many of our students will be the first in their family to attend college.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must hold current teaching certification in Special Education, either in NYS or a state which has reciprocity. Candidates with at least 2 years of middle or high school teaching experience are preferred.
