Multi-billion dollar global investment banking conglomerate seeks (Series 27 a +) with 5+ years (public/private combo a +) broker dealer; accounting/regulatory experience. Responsible for accounting functions for broker dealer and legal entities. Coordinate accounting department from P&L, financial statements, general ledger and maintenance of various reporting tools. Coordinate Daily Net Capital calculation. Responsible for month end close to ensure revenue and expenses. Prepare and evaluate head office reports and quarterly and annual basis. Analyze P&L versus prior year budget. Assist SVP in developing and implementing internal controls. Interact with outside auditors and regulators as well as ad-hoc projects.
