Graphic Designer to Help with Educational Website Redesign (Upper East Side)

More infoWe are looking for a freelance web/UI designer to design our student/teacher course management website for internal use.
Candidate will be redesigning the user experience and interface for our existing website, starting from site-map phases
and ending with interface design. Candidate will be working closely with our small team. No coding experience needed.
This position is off-site, but candidate must be able to attend occasional meetings held in NYC.

Skills requirements:

1. BFA degree in Communications Design, Graphic Design or similar field.
2. 2+ years experience designing for web (site map, wireframing, visual design.)
3. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
4. Understanding of HTML and CSS a plus but not necessary.
5. Ability to read Chinese a plus but not necessary.

This is a part-time position. Hourly/flat rate negotiable. Salary range: $18000-$22500/six months total, no benefits.
