The position of receptionist, likely to be the patient's first contact with the practice both on the telephone and in person .
The receptionist is the ambassador of goodwill. The receptionist should provide excellent customer service,
answer phones, schedule appointments, enter insurance data, collect co-payments, filing,
and other office related tasks.
the position includes (but not limited to ) :
* Greeting patients; service with a smile!
* Answer incoming calls , calling no-show patients
* Insurance verification
* Coding and inputting charges (will train )
* Checking in and out patients
* Collecting co-pays and payments
* Balancing out the day
* Maintaining and filing of patient medical records
* Maintain and stock inventory at the front desk and waiting area
* Keeping the front desk and waiting areas clean
