Avoid scams and fraud by dealing locally! Beware any deal involving Western Union, Moneygram, wire transfer, cashier check, money order, shipping, escrow, or any promise of transaction protection/certification/guarantee. More infoA San Francisco leading-edge quantitative hedge fund with a pure-machine-learning approach is looking for an algorithmic developer with U.S. equity trading experience. This position is in San Francisco and you will be required to work U.S. trading hours.

Your primary responsibility will be developing the firm's execution algos. While the quants will identify potential Alpha, it will be your responsibility to decide how best to execute (and code) the algos to capture the Alpha. A secondary responsibility will be manually executing equities trades as required by the Portfolio Manager.

You will need the creative intellectual ability to contribute new ideas and to test and debug them in simulations, as well as the practical technical skills required to implement and maintain them under the stresses of live trading. This will include trade and algorithm analysis, monitoring, and collaboratively working to improve our systems overall.

Our preference is for an algo developer who has real trading experience either in running a trading system or as a discretionary/proprietary equities trader. This position is a great opportunity for an algo/trading systems developer to bring their knowledge of equities execution to a growing, cutting-edge quant team that is directly responsible for its own P&L.
