Overview:

Manage thedesign development and construction of domestic shop-in-shop flagship shopsfrom conception through opening for allRalph Lauren brand concepts.

Responsibilities:

Visualize and communicate the Ralph Lauren brand through design of space. Produce schematic design and/or design development packages/sets for shop-in-shop stores (new stores or renovations); oversee project from inception through completion. Responsible for project management including; design, construction, millwork shop drawing review, budget and schedule maintenance. Coordinate project scope with various consultants: Lighting, Engineer, Production Architect, Code and Construction Manager. Coordinate project's program requirements with Polo in-house departments; Decorative, Merchants and Operations. Maintain constant dialogue with all teams involved regarding status and progress of projects.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Architecture. 5-7 years experience in architectural design and project management for retail and/or interior design, high-end residential. Proficiency in AutoCAD version 2009-2011 at a minimum with expertise in 2D drafting, block creation, X-Refs as well as 3D modeling, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project and internet. Understanding of traditional classical architectural design and components as well as modern design. Project Management Experience in areas of millwork, construction, budgets, schedules and analysis. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and oral. Comprehensive understanding of the Ralph Lauren aesthetic & sensibility and the ability to design within those parameters.Ralph Lauren is an equal opportunity employer.
