Japanese IT company seeks an Accounting Assistant for immediate hire.

Position Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Financial District, NYC

General Position Summary:
This position is responsible for processing daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable and accounts receivable. In addition, this position is required to perform office administrative duties.

Essential Job Functions:
? Performs accounting clerical duties such as data process of A/P, A/R functions daily basis.
? Contacts other departments, vendors or customers for accounting related issues as needed.
? Performs administrative duties such as documents or organizations, office supply managements, reception tasks, etc.
? Develops necessary accounting/administrative related reports.
? Attends necessary meetings
? Reliable attendance, accurate data processing, data analysis skills, and team participation are required.

Other & Miscellaneous:
? Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
? Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager and other senior management.
? Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.
? Reports all irregular issues and problems to management for solution.
? Maintains good communication with other managers, staff & outside contacts.
? Complies with all company policies and procedures.
? Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.
? Maintains high ethical standards in the work place.

Qualification:
? Must have Accounting Experience and knowledge (A/P, A/R, and Payroll a must)
? Must be able to start ASAP
? Japanese skill is a plus but not required
