The Long Island Beauty Schools (Hempstead & Hauppauge) are currently seeking Admissions Representatives to assist students with their desire to start, change, or enhance their career in the Cosmetology and Beauty industry. PLEASE READ ENTIRE POSTING BEFORE APPLYING.

Job Description & Requirements Completed Job Description:

The primary role of the Admissions Representative is to contact, interview and enroll student inquiries into a qualified career-focused education and guide the prospective student through the enrollment completion process. All Admissions Representatives and/or Marketing Agents do report directly to the Executive Director of Admissions and Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in our organization, the Representative must be able to successfully perform duties by working with a diverse student inquiry population and have a high level of account management skills to include sales, customer service, and follow up.

OTHER ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
? Heavy outbound phone contact with company and self-generated leads
? Conducting pre-interviews with prospective students via the phone with the intent to invite the student to the campus
? Quoting tuition prices, terms, conditions as set forth by the school
? Assisting with the completion of online enrollment paperwork and follow up with candidates throughout the follow-up process up to include active attendance in school
? Acting as a liaison between the student and appropriate school departments to facilitate a best in class student experience
? Communicating with students prior to the class start to identify potential concerns and facilitate solutions
? Remaining in contact with students throughout their program in order to assist them in becoming successful graduates
? Responsible for networking with a variety of contacts including existing students to promote the school and generate personal leads
? Maintaining a high level of productivity to meet and exceed established Admissions goals
? Operating within the highest ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of the position
? Performing all other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

CAREER QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
? Education: Bachelor's Degree (No Exceptions)
? One to three years of sales or related experience with a proven track record of success
? Excellent communication skills
? Ability to work successfully in a result oriented environment
? Dynamic, outgoing, and have a strong focus on customer service
? Strong organizational and time management skills
? Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
? Ability to work a flexible schedule
? Professional appearance and demeanor
? Must be proficient and possess basic computer skills
? Ability to make basic arithmetic calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to complete reports and work with tuition pricing scenarios
? Walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and twisting as needed
? Occasionally moves/transports, lifts up to 25 pounds
