* Reports directly to operations Operations Manager
* Does walk through on all jobs to estimate
* Studies and reviews, in detail, all plans and documents related to a job to be estimated
* Breaks down all job aspects down by trade and task
* Estimate jobs we self perform, AKA Internal Jobs as follows:
Estimates amount & cost of material needed for each trade
Estimates amount of labor - Required in man days/hours per trade
Estimates cost of man days per trade
Estimates profit margin per trade
* Estimates jobs performed by Sub-Contractors as follows:
Obtain list of potential sub-contractors to perform job for each trade
Sends out proposal requests to sub-contractors and logs responses
Estimates profit margin per trade
Reviews sub-contractors proposal to ensure all aspects of the trade are captured.
* Maintains all estimates in the company estimating software and database
* Reviews all estimates with Owner, Operations Manager & Project manager in detail and ensure all task, requirements and notes are captured
* Provides estimate's cost breakdown to financial manager for all awarded jobs post id: 4320147781
