POSITION: Associate Director of Marketing

COMPENSATION: Base salary up to $175,000 plus bonus, excellent benefits, very generous PTO, 401K and additional offerings

LOCATION: Midtown Manhattan

ORGANIZATION: International Law Firm

SUMMARY:

A major international law firm is looking for a highly motivated, self-managing and knowledgeable Associate Director of Marketing to join its NYC team. This person will be responsible for ensuring that all department output meets the standards of brand excellence expected from a top tier international law firm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Develop a thorough understanding of the firm's practice areas and attorney specialties, and associated communications/business development support needs.
? Work with the CMO to raise the presentation and articulation of the firm's experience and accolades across various communication platforms, and in particular on the firm's website.
? Supervise design and production of collateral materials such as brochures, newsletters, and other communication pieces and manage the consistent use and application of the firm's brand.
? Supervise the firm's Web initiatives including the website, social media, and other marketing technology and institutes and monitors marketing policy, procedures and best practices, enhancing the firm's social media presence.
? Research publications and industry conferences to identify opportunities for byline articles, speaking engagements and sponsorships.
? Execute top tier networking programs, conferences and events and conduct post event analysis and follow up.
? Promotes networking and business development initiatives for Special Interest Groups including: Alumni; Women; Focused Markets (e.g. Latin America/India)
? Enhance the firm's CLE client programs and introduce new approaches for success (e.g. webinars) to increase attendance and satisfy client requests for education credit. Coordinate with the Director of Attorney training and programming on formats and topics.
? Work with the CMO to develop and implement key department project plans.
? Supervise implementation and execution of certain marketing initiatives established by CMO.
? Supervise the Graphics, IT Specialist and Webmaster positions.

REQUIREMENTS:

? 7+ years business development/marketing experience within a law firm
? Superior communication skills and capacity to develop and deliver effective presentations
? Highly skilled in drafting, editing and proofreading pitch materials, responses to RFPs and other business development materials; ability to develop and write original content
? Strong project management abilities including setting priorities, planning, organization, follow-through, delegation and negotiation skills
? Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing staff
? Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or public relations
