Office Manager in Antiquarian Jewish Bookshop (Williamsburg/Bushwick Line)

Responsibilities:
- Manage office
- Create and modify invoices
- Credit card processing
- Pack and process shipments
- Catalog books
- Phone contact with clients
- Coordinate exhibits & events
- Maintain files and order supplies
- Perform general clerical duties to including and not limited to printing, copying, faxing and mailing
- Conduct research as requested
- Make travel arrangements including international flights & hotels
- Be proactive in all aspects of work including running errands & assisting owner
- Be able to lift a 30 lb box of books

Qualifications:
- BA or equivalent
- Beginning knowledge of Hebrew or Yiddish and Jewish history
- Other foreign language a plus
- Strong attention to detail & excellent organization skills
- Self motivated
- Ability to work alone as well as with a small team
- Excellent communication skills
- Efficient time management skills
- Works well in busy environment
- Professional, friendly & outgoing
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
- Dreamweaver and other web publishing and database knowledge helpful
- Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, calculators, copiers and scanners
- Valid Drivers License preferred but not required
