Position Title: Volunteer Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Non Profit Operations

Summary:
The ideal candidate exudes a warm, engaging, and hospitable demeanor when managing registrations, handling communications, recruiting and developing volunteers, problem solving and analyzing applied research.

Essential Functions:
1. Add, oversee, and develop community outreach programs through applied research.
2. Develop prospective programs from inception to reality.
3. Recruit and supervise NYSOM outreach program staff.
4. Monitor program compliance with NY State and Federal guidelines.
5. Average one hour / day; 75% virtual and 25% onsite
6. Work schedule negotiable with supervisor
7. One mandatory monthly staff meeting
8. Flexible weekends and evenings for special events
9. Additional projects as assigned

Position Title: Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator
Reports to: Executive Director
Supervisory duties as assigned

Summary:
The ideal candidate exudes a professional, engaging, persuasive and likeable presentation with strong business etiquette when making outbound calls / e-commerce sales to engage business and community leaders to endorse and participate in fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications:

Excellent written and spoken sales presentation and communication skills
Preferred experience supervising and mentoring volunteer teams
Preferred computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Social Media, and the Internet

Detail in creative and enterprising solutions

Essential Functions:
1. Fill Executive Director quota for fundraising targets, activities, and operating income.
2. Establish an annual budget and fundraising plan from revenue generation to expense control.
3. Establish a sustainable fundraising program to develop business opportunities with funding sources including individual community donors.
4. Spearhead and oversee entire fundraising process to hit program targets prior to and following 501(c)3 incorporation.
5. Find, research and evaluate donors / foundations for philanthropy potential.
6. Ensure consistent follow-through on funding opportunities and relationships.
7. Collaborate with the Grants Coordinator and fundraising staff.

Additional Functions:
1. Directly support Executive Director
2. Draft, edit, and prepare fundraising grants
3. Develop educational programs with program staff
3. Produce reports, documentation, scheduling, mail, and scheduling. Manage database.
4. Manage miscellaneous non-profit vendors

VOLUNTEER SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
NYSOM is looking for a part-time social media coordinator to maintain the organization's online social networks.
This could be arranged both as a volunteer gig or as an unpaid internship in coordination with
the applicant's school.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develop innovative and creative media content across social media platforms
? Report to marketing director and collaborates with graphic designer and webmaster to ensure a
cohesive social media identity
? Propose creative strategy in collaboration with marketing director
? Create edit, and maintain relevant social media accounts
? Setup daily tasks and activity for all our social media outlets
? Keep track of social media trends and competition
? Familiarity with social media and interacting with bloggers
? Promote and Drive traffic to all NYSOM's social media outlets

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

? Understanding of the concept behind NYSOM's visual identity
? Able to make creative suggestions in the interest of the organization
? Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence
? On time and prepared
? Passion for NYSOM's mission and understanding of our vision
