SENIOR ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT (Midtown)

International Non Profit Organization, that provides education and developmentmental support for today's youth, seeks a Senior Organizational Development Consultant.

The Senior Organizational Development Consultant is responsible for formulating strategies to guide the design and delivery of organizational development (OD), talent management, learning and development processes, and learning programs that facilitate the alignment of talent throughout the organization. She/he plays an essential role in providing input to senior management for broadening the organization's vision and developing strategies to make the organization a model of organizational development and leadership at all levels. She/he partners with an assigned team to design, facilitate, and evaluate networked learning solutions to improve the knowledge and capabilities of volunteers and staff, and complies with the organization adult learning philosophy and standards to ensure that the organization is competitive and is keeping abreast of current trends in the adult learning field.

The Senior Organization Development Consultant serves in a senior-level role supporting the learning of new program models in order to engage and retain the organization's volunteer and paid workforce at the council and national levels. She/he serves in a project leader role supporting a volunteer organizational development platform that educates management on the importance of organizational effectiveness, performance management, talent management, and employee development initiatives in support of building strategic objectives and delivering on them.

She/he monitors project work assignments, ensuring that program design and delivery for staff are completed in both face-to-face settings as well as online. The incumbent validates deliveries that include a combination of synchronous and asynchronous blended learning and organizational development opportunities. She/he plays a key role in the capacity building of the organization and people development, including decision-making processes by providing leadership in all aspects of organizational development and culture change. She/he supports councils' advisory boards through effective needs assessment and is instrumental in identifying and addressing learning and development needs across organization.

Qualifications:
?? Minimum 8 years'experience in organizational development models,adult learning, talent management, and performance management solutions in complex, dynamic, multilayered corporate or consulting environments, serving as an integrated business partner who set strategic direction and delivered practical business solutions
?? Minimum 5 years demonstrated expertise in leading change management, including strategy definition, process improvement, culture or system change, learning and meeting design, and communications along with experience leading high profile projects
?? Minimum 5 years' experience developing certification-based leadership development initiatives and evaluating organizational, team, and individual results
?? Minimum 5 years' demonstrated lead project management experience with direct accountability for project deliverables
?? Experience functioning in a team environment while managing multiple priorities including working with adult volunteers who work with girls, Board members, and other levels of paid and volunteer staff
?? Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and delivery of progressive leadership and talent management curriculum and succession planning programs, using innovating design methodologies, blended learning, and action learning capability
?? Demonstrated experience in organization development theory and practice and evaluation methodologies as well as multi-rater assessment skills
?? Proven excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, marketing skills a plus
?? Strong consulting, training, and facilitation skills including experience with computer-based training and distance learning methods
?? Knowledge of leadership competency models preferred
?? Travel up to 30 percent (possibly more the first six months when traveling to build relationships and promote new systems) including overnight and weekend stays, when needed
?? Valid driver's license to travel to other geographic locations, as needed
?? Master's degree in organizational development, organizational behavior, industrial/organizational psychology, leadership development, human resources management, instructional design, or equivalent relevant experience; PHR/SPHR certification a plus
