Roasting Plant Coffee Company currently has openings for Customer Server positions at our 81 Orchard Street location in the Lower East Side and out 75 Greenwich Ave location in Greenwich Village.

Roasting Plant is a technology driven company, but coffee is our true passion. We strive to make every cup a unique experience for each guest.

Freshness, Choice, and Wonder are key components in each beverage and visit, and our fantastic Servers are at the heart of delivering our message.

We are looking for:
+ Coffee enthusiasts!! We are willing to train, but you MUST LOVE COFFEE!!
+ Passionate, positive, hard-working, and unique personalities.
+ An understanding of who and what we are and how we differ from other coffee shops.
+ Effective, attentive and engaging communicators.
+ Quick-learners and quality decision makers.
+ A commitment to excellence and dedication to our values.

The basics:
You must be able to:
+ Stand for long periods of time,
+ Ascend and descend stairs frequently,
+ Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Specifics:
+ Seeking candidates that are willing to grow within a young and expanding company
+ Seeking positive, happy, hard-working candidates with endless pizzazz and a humble nature
+ Seeking part time candidates only at this time (15-30 hours/week)
+ Flexible availability, but we require a commitment of at least 3 to 4 shifts/week
+ Health benefits available to part-time employees.
