Pindler & Pindler Inc., an International Wholesale Distributor of Decorative Fabrics is seeking a Showroom Manager for our New York Showroom located in the D&D Building. Knowledge of fabric / textiles a plus.

The ideal candidate thrives in a multi-tasking environment and is able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. S/he must have an interest in decorative fabrics, experience in design, furniture, and general management.

Showroom Manager Core Responsibilities:
Provide customers with unsurpassed service and expertise throughout the sales process.

Manage a staff of 2-3 people. This includes: delegation of responsibilities, set work assignments, hire, train, supervise and evaluate full and part time employees.

Prioritize work responsibilities. This includes: order entry, sample check out / check in, new product placement, dropped products, inventory, maintaining fabric sample equipment and managing general office duties.

Create a positive workplace environment in which associates are motivated to develop professionally and one in which they successfully achieve goals.

Necessary Skills:
Excellent "relationship selling/customer focused" sales skills.
Solution oriented with exceptional follow through.

Strong skills in: Computers, Order Entry, Communication, Analytical, ability to Multi-Task.
Ability to perform well in a detail oriented, fast paced environment.
Must be willing to learn our products and systems.
