One of the country's leading architecture firms is looking for a Lead Desktop Support Technician. The company is looking for an innovative, hard-working, intelligent desktop support technician to lead their growing support team. Since this is a leadership position one will have to train and mentor the different team members on different projects and recent cutting edge technologies. As the team lead you will also be responsible for leading projects and major migrations. You will be in a position that allows you to make decisions that will directly impact the team's success and growth potential, in addition to the company's success. People interested will need a strong Windows background, and experience supporting both PCs and Macs.
As one of the top 25 architecture firms, the company is growing and expanding its IT department. You will be responsible for helping build the support team and bring the team to new levels of success. The support team works with the most recent versions of Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory and Exchange.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting the following technologies:
Windows XP/7
Active Directory 08
Outlook/ Exchange 2007-2010
BES, Blackberries, Iphones, Ipads & Macs
- Experience providing technical training and mentoring junior team members
- Strong customer service skills and communication skills
- B.S. in computer science or relative work experience
