More infoInternationally established "to the trade" home furnishings textile brand is looking for creative & energetic administrative assistant / customer service representative to liaise with interior designers, top-tiered architectural firms and our worldwide showroom distributors. Background and interest in interior design, home furnishings and textiles a big plus. You must possess the ability to juggle a million things at once, and be structured and organized and still have a smile on your face. Type-A's are welcome!

Qualifications:
? METICULOUS ATTENTION TO DETAIL, highly organized and Clear-headed focused individual with willingness to handle many administrative tasks.
? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work effectively with staff and clients
? Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, organize time, maintain workflow, and perform efficiently
? Strong quantitative skills.

? Professional, well organized, motivated, detail-oriented and must demonstrate: high motivation, confidence, and integrity

? Must be extremely organized, proactive and good with demanding designers.
? Skills in software applications - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Quickbooks. Skills in Photoshop & Illustrator as plus.

? Energetic, proactive and dedicated approach to building and maintaining relationships with growing portfolio of showrooms and customers
? Interest in and appreciation for design with an interest in home furnishing textiles. Experience in interior design, home furnishings or related design field a big plus.

Responsibilities:
Administrative Assistant /Customer Service Representative will be directly involved in all aspects of well established "to the trade" textile design business. The administrative assistant will be responsible for general administrative and support functions. In these roles, he or she will need to be extraordinarily well organized, methodical, and results driven. The design assistant will interact daily with both the design and operations sides of the business. He or she will also need to collaborate closely with outside suppliers.

Daily responsibilities include:
? Daily order management - order flow from conception until completion through our many production processes.
? Handle incoming telephone calls and provide customer service support as needed.
? Liaise with domestic and international furniture/textile showrooms as well as directly with demanding architects and interior designers including coordinating special sampling requests.
? Maintain spreadsheets including order database, textile inventory database, price lists, etc.
? Liaise with all our production mills and our own factory.
? Quickbooks tasks making deposits.
? Coordinate shipping to domestic and international locations in a timely manner including preparing packing slips, bill of ladings and commercial invoices.
? Maintain textile archive.
? Liaise with outside sales team and coordinate the updating of their road sales sample sets.
? Overseeing and managing showroom display for both domestic and international showrooms (including wing display, fabric hanger sets, rotation of wallcovering boards and memo samples)
