INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION: As a web design & development (d & d) Intern, you will assist in the d & d processes: Interpreting, conceptualizing, designing, and creating images, objects and solutions to effectively deliver marketing messages & offerings.

Your training will encompass the finder aspects of good web design. The ability to utilize one (maybe two) avenues/vehicles to speak to the diverse (schizophrenic) interconnected organism that is the www.

You will be exposed to and involved in other essential disciplines necessary for launching and becoming a successful presence in a very crowded, chaotic, beautiful web wide world

- You will engage with marketing managers and sales people in their continuous effort to cultivate and communicating a compelling message. One that increases visibility, generates increasing clicks, enhances visitor experience and ultimately yields greater ROI.

YOUR SKILL SET:

The ideal candidate possesses a keen desire to establish themselves in the new (yes still nascent) on-line interactive world and the great medium since the Gutenberg press.

You understand the precepts and theories of traditional marketing yet have an astute awareness and appreciation for the world formally known as ARPNET.

You are a current or recent academic graphic arts major.

You are proficient at all web creation languages and tools: HTML|PHOTOSHOP|CSS|ETC

You can write, editing, and have a knack for getting & keeping peoples attention.

You have a natural inclination to see/think how others do.

COMPENSATION :

This is not a salaried position per se, however we do provide a stipend and/or partial tuition reimbursement. Transportation and meal allowance comes with the territory. Rapid advancement for the right individual will be our collective goal.
