Seeking Barista 4-5 shifts a week (Williamsburg, Brooklyn )

Cleanliness and quality are of utmost importance. We are looking for someone with a true interest in coffee, we use Intelligentsia. Please have an interest in learning about cheeses and specialty food products. This position goes beyond just serving coffee. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of running a busy shop. The ideal candidate should be willing to wear many hats and be quick on their feet. Must be avail. some evenings and weekends.

Requirements:

At least 1- 2 years of "real" Barista experience. (Automatic espresso machines experience found in such places as Starbucks does not count).
- knowledge of Traditional Espresso machines (currently a la Marzocco Linea and Mazzer Grinder)
- Latte art
- Fast and proficient in making all types of coffee drinks with consistent quality
- Basic cashier skills
-Stocking and take supply inventory
-Great customer service; friendly, unpretentious, yet knowledgeable service
- Interest in cheese and willingness to learn about specialty food products
