Back of the House:
Seeking experienced line cooks with kitchen management responsibility who are well-disciplined and hard working. Must be passionate about food and cleanliness, able to multi task, have an excellent attitude and be prepared to work hard. Experience in a high volume kitchen is required.
Strong communication skills and teamwork are a must.
? Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
? Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
? Restock all items as needed throughout shift.
? Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills and has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in station.
? Assist with the cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
? Additional responsibilities at the request of Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager.
? 1 to 2 year experience.
? Knowledge of food and nutrition, knife skills and proper techniques in food preparation.
? Must have good English communication skills, including reading and writing, and the ability to multi-task.
? Possess a high degree of cleanliness.
? Must be able to reach, bend and stand for entire shift.
? Food Handler's Permit a plus.
