Position Requirements
? Minimum of 1 year of relevant TV buying and/or planning experience.
? Experience as media assistant or coordinator preferred
? Cable TV buying experience is highly preferred
? Has initiative and the desire to learn media services business and work in and entrepreneurial environment
? Extremely DETAIL-ORIENTED
? Effective oral and written communications skills
? Organized and efficient; STRONG ability to MULTI-TASK
? Computer proficiency in Strata, Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
? Ability to work as team player
? Ability to work on multiple accounts effectively
? Responsible for checking station contracts against buy sheets and bringing any discrepancies to the supervisor's attention
? or know when to take care of it on your own.
Specific Duties
? Assisting in the preparation of budgets and estimates of proposed media plans
? Preparing account-specific reports
? Maintaining media records
? Preparing and sending buy orders
? Maintaining timely flow of station/network invoices for payment
? Inputting buys and making changes in a timely manner
? Handle and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors
? Preparing traffic instructions and confirming tape/DG arrival with stations/networks
? Handle day-to-day client requests
