Odd hours part-time baby sitter needed (Upper East Side)

More infoMy husband and I are in need of a new baby sitter for our 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter. We are hoping to find some one to start by 2/27/12. The basic requirements: be able to pass a background check, have good references, availability to work early in the morning for an hour or two, then come back in the evening after the kids are out of school, thoughtfulness, cleanliness, kindness, honesty, a willingness to make healthy snacks and meals (and not eat junk around our kids) and creativity a must.

This position has worked best as a second job for sitters who live in or near the upper east side and are self-employed or have flexible schedules. It is not appropriate for those who would need to commute from the outer burroughs.

Generally the hours until June would look like: Monday 3:30-6pm, Tuesday 7:30am-8:30am and 3:00pm-6:00pm, Wednesday 6:30am-8:30am and 3:30-6:30 and Friday 3:30-5:30. The June-August hours would be slightly different.

We are very easygoing and always try and provide a comfortable place to work. We are hoping to find some one who enjoys their work, enjoys children and is honest and punctual.
