HIRING NOW- TELECOM TECH.
CTS LLC is currently seeking a field technician/ programmer in the Fairfield-CT/ Westchester County areas. Must have experience with Asterisk Systems, Digital and other IP phone systems including, but not limited to Allworx and Avaya. Knowledge of other systems is a plus., We will provide training for other types of systems. Strong knowledge of network equipment, like routers, firewall, network switches is a plus. Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision, have a professional demeanor and MUST have a good driving record.
Establishes communications systems by installing, operating, and maintaining voice and data telecommunications, network circuits and equipment.

1. Establishes voice and data networks by running and terminating cables, installing of the equipment. Establishing connections, programming features.
2. Verifies services by testing circuits, equipment and alarms. Identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
3. Documenting network by labeling and routing equipment and cables.
4. Network troubleshooting and repairing outages, test network back-up procedures and updating documentation
5. Maintaining a safe work environment by following codes, standards and legal regulations.
6. Customer Service is a must by listening to and resolving concerns and answering questions
7. Documenting of the paper work that will be handed in into the office.

In this position you will be assigned to many sites, routes and a large coverage area and will be asked to be available in-case of an emergency during the night or weekends, providing our customer emergency restoration service.
