The ideal candidate must be a self starter and must be comfortable working on a variety of tasks. Impeccable

SAT/ACT Instructors & Tutors (Princeton)

The Opportunity
Revolution Prep (www.revolutionprep.com/about-us) is seeking talented, high-achieving individuals to teach and tutor our SAT/ACT programs in the Princeton area.
Founded in 2002, Revolution Prep has partnered with schools to enable students to increase their SAT/ACT scores and ultimately reach their academic goals. Motivated by student success, our instructors impact dozens, if not hundreds, of students per year and possess high-energy and charisma in addition to expert knowledge of the SAT/ACT exams.
The time commitment on a weekly/monthly basis is dependent on the preference of the instructor. The average instructor works between 4-10 hours per week. Individuals with full-time jobs looking for stimulating, rewarding work and some extra cash are encouraged to apply.
The Candidate
Ideal candidates possess a high-level of energy and enthusiasm for education. Although classroom experience is not required, s/he must be comfortable speaking in front of a group of high school students. Candidates with Wednesday evening (6-9pm) availability will be given top priority.
Specific requirements include: Bachelor's degree from a top universityAbility to score a minimum of 2100 on the SAT and/or a 32 on the ACTHave access to reliable transportation and be willing to travel locallyClassroom management experience preferredAvailability through Fall 2012 is a plusWe'll provide you with the training, materials, and students - you provide the inspiration!
