Concrete shop producing precast concrete countertops and sinks, wall and floor surfaces, and cast concrete furniture is seeking a full time employee. Job will include sanding, grinding and polishing countertops, assisting in mold making and casting, on site assistant work and general shop maintenance. The shop is small so you must be able to handle many different tasks as needed. Skills required include woodworking experience, sanding, polishing and finishing experience, prior work with concrete and plaster. Stone finishing skills and any countertop experience is a big plus, must have a drivers license. The shop is located in Bed Stuy Brooklyn, near Pratt Institute.
