Grilled Cheese Guru: Counter Cashier and Line Cook needed (West Village)

COUNTER/CASHIER: This is a job for the sandwich-obsessed. If perfectly golden-browned bread and uniformly melted cheese brings a tear to your eye, read on.

We are looking for someone to take over the counter at Murray's Melts. This position is full time and hours are generally 10:30am-7pm.

What to expect day to day:
* Take and fulfill orders at busy Melts counter
* Work closely with Kitchen Manager develop new sandwiches and other dishes
* Manage Melts area - keep it clean, prep at end of day, stay on top of ordering needs, run register when not making Melts
* Transition smoothly, quickly, and often between roles of server, cook, cashier, and occasional cheese monger

Skills:
* Line cook experience
* Excellent customer service
* Bilingual Spanish a plus
* NYC Food Handler Certificate preferred
* Cheese knowledge will be very beneficial
