The West Village's iconic French Roast Bar & Bistro is hiring!

Open 24-hours a day for 20 years, we're the go-to spot in the neighborhood, reliably serving guests in need of a sunrise cappuccino & croissant, a mid-day power lunch, a romantic dinner date, a midnight meal, or a late-night cocktail. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

BUSSER (FULL TIME):
- Must have flexible schedule, available to work breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night (until 4am).
- Must be available 7 days a week.
- Must be available to work holidays.
- Must be fast & clean.
- Must be friendly & outgoing.
- Must be able to ride a bike for delivery orders, in order to assist with delivery orders.
- Prior restaurant bussing experience required
- Prior running/expediting experience not required, but a big plus.

DELIVERY/PORTER PERSON (PART TIME/WEEKEND):
Our delivery business is BOOMING. The delivery sales and tips are great, but we cant keep up with the demand. And now we are looking to expand our delivery zone to a larger area of Manhattan. So, we are looking to immediately hire a delivery person. Here's the details:

- Must have strong English skills.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be FAST and SAFE on our brand new delivery bike.
- Must be in good cardio condition.
- We will provide you a new delivery bike, outfitted with all the required safety equipment.
- Must make deliveries in hot, cold, rainy, and snowy weather.
- Must be able to handle cash and credit transactions.
- Must have a cellphone/mobile so that you can be contacted while on delivery.
- Must be reliable.
- When not out on delivery, you will perform Porter duties. This means cleaning the restaurant, mopping, wiping dusty shelves, and general maintenance.
- Pay is $8/hour plus delivery tips. Delivery tips can range from $25 - $100 per night.
- Our weekend Saturday and Sunday dinner shifts (5pm-11pm) are available at this time.

Responsibilities & Qualifications: Ensure guests are seated at a clean, properly set table within shortest amount of time possible.Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, perimeter of building and parking lot.Check highchairs and boosters for cleanliness.Empty trash and sweep the restaurant and bar floor areas.Offer assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware, and refill beverages.No experience required. Must have very high energy and be able to work in an extremely fast paced, hectic and demanding environment. Lifting, bending and climbing stairs along with other physical duties will be required.
