Senior Level Sales Position 150-300K West Coast, San Jose, CALIFORNIA
compensation: 150K - 300K First 3 months on salary then commission with a negotiated draw.
Established, restoration / loss consulting firm seeks experienced SALES PROFESSIONAL for the San Jose and surrounding South Bay territory. Looking for proven TOP sales producers. This is a challenging position with high reward (150-300K) for the proven sales pro ready to work hard and take their income to the next level. This job is for SALES only, no adjusting or project management involved. Obviously, you would need outstanding, proven sales skills for the company to consider relocation.

An ideal candidate will have some combination of insurance, construction, restoration, disaster or loss mitigation and cold-calling sales experience. The primary requirement is SALES experience and proven ability to sell under some very difficult constraints--to a home/business owner who has suffered a loss and needs help with the insurance claims process. Again, this position is SALES only, not the adjusting or project management phase. Do not apply unless you are a proven TOP producer in your current and past SALES endeavors.

COMMISSION ONLY (with draw): Commission structure very generous and no cap on commission. You will be an employee with benefits, not 1099 contract labor, and work on salary for three months, then commissions with a negotiated draw Travel expenses paid.
DRIVEN PERSONALITY: This is a career position, best geared towards the candidate established as a Senior Level Sales Professional in their current line of work but ready to take it to the next level. The work requires high energy and emotional stamina.
ROAD WARRIOR: Travel expenses paid. You will be given leads/assignments daily to visit potential clients who have suffered damage to property, business, or residence, and sell services to help the client reach a fair (insurance) settlement. Your current living situation must lend itself to suddenly going out of town on sales calls on very short notice.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL EXTREMELY HIGH: Most people are not even aware your service exists, and they have not solicited the sale, so your job is about approaching the homeowner/business owners, securing a meeting with the decision maker, educating them about options, and then closing the sale. You must be able to do this with trusted others telling potential clients you have nothing to offer--although nothing could be further from the truth. Strong and frequent rejection is par for the course. However, the company has thousands (literally) of references from extremely satisfied clients, an excellent rating with BBB, professional office support, resources and professional literature to assist in the sales process.
TEAM APPROACH: You will not be alone. Other sales team members are given incentive to help you learn the ropes. However a newbie without skills unable to pull their weight in a short period of time need not apply. It is a tough business to sell, but the rewards are there for the right person. The hiring company is a reputable industry LEADER with appropriate resources to assist in the sales process. We are an individually owned business with a stellar reputation, not a franchise or a mom and pop organization.
EXPERIENCE: Proven success in a cold calling situation IS a qualification. This job requires a high level of intellect along with having "street-wise" attributes due to the diversity of the work environment. The sales position requires you to interact with individual homeowners from all walks of life as well as interfacing with C level execs, owners/business managers in a wide variety of industries. The main experience is your PROVEN ability to sell regardless of adversity. It is not an appropriate position to learn sales. You must already be a sales pro ready to hit the ground running with minimal time learning the particulars of the process.
