526 west 26th street at no 616Robert Young Architecture & Interiors, award-winning multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design studio,seeks a Senior Project Architect for a Lead Project Architect position. We are looking for a well-rounded professional with exceptional design ability and experience through all phases of design and construction.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 4 years as project lead on high-end residential and/or hospitality projects
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited school of architecture
- Built work experience in New York and Hamptons areas a must
- Highly developed skills in client communications, contract documentation, project scheduling, team leadership, building design, technical detailing.
- Consultant coordination, construction administration
- Thorough knowledge and experience with NYC and Hamptons codes, building departments, review boards, and other regulatory agencies
- Track record or realized and/or published projects
- Experience in resource planning, project management and project scheduling
- Personable, with a hands-on approach
- Proficiency with Autocad, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite

Responsibilities as Lead Project Architect include:

- Manages high-end residential / hospitality projects at all phases
- Manages production of all documents from schematic design through construction administration
- Manages construction administration
- Ensures quality control and the successful realization of design intent
- Manages milestones, budgets and schedules
- Overall technical resource for the office
- Provide leadership on technical issues and quality of detailing and construction documents
- Advise, mentor and support office staff
