The Field Assistant (FA) is a member of the Education Reform Now Field Team, managed by the Canvass Director (CD). General responsibilities include assisting the CD with canvass material preparation, canvass launches/endings, data entry, data quality control, inventory, and canvasser quality control. The FA may also be asked to assist at events when needed.

Canvass Material Preparation

? Help the CD create maps, directions, tally sheets, walk sheets for canvassers every Friday for the upcoming week

Canvass Launches/Endings

? Assist the CD with launching canvasses in the mornings and ending canvasses in the evenings daily. May be asked to end canvasses on his or her own

Data Entry/Quality Control

? Responsible for entering all data from canvassers daily. All data from previous day must

be entered by 12:00pm the next day

? Maintains data trackers to ensure accuracy and efficiency

? Updates and maintains contact information docs and maps

Canvasser Management

? Completes spot checks on canvassers in the field

? Ensure canvassers are correctly and completely filling out tally and walk sheets

? Manages the canvasser schedule

? Completes supply inventory

? Works with the Field Director to order supplies when needed
