We are small contractor seeking experienced estimator in both commercial and residential project with additional knowledge in masonry trade.

Tasks to be fulfilled by the estimator:

* Prepare estimates from blueprints for specific disciplines and work within the estimating department. Complete pricing and bench marking research and maintain project documents and files in an organized manner.

* Obtain accurate and up-to-date pricing information from databases, contractors, suppliers, etc. to utilize in estimates.

* Input estimate takeoff information for specific discipline into appropriate spreadsheets and develop unit cost pricing.

* Work with architects and engineers to develop clear understanding of project scope during preparation of estimate. Develop relationships with members of A/E firms and project team members. Will be responsible for turning projects over to Project Manager with a complete estimate and clear scope of work.

* Prepare submittals, RFI, RFP

* Maintain project documents such as drawings and specifications in an organized and reasonable manner. Maintain project files on file server in accordance with company standards.

* Maintains and updates data library of costs.

* You should be highly articulate, have clear and analytically approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities. To succeed in this role you will need excellent communication and presentation skills.

Skills & Qualifications:
Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) QuickBooks, Outlook, Analyzing Information, Developing Budgets, Vendor Relationships, Reporting Skills, Estimating, Teamwork, and Quality Focus.

Qualifications:
* 3-5 years minimum experience in office administration of a construction company a must.
* Exceptional written and verbal skills.
* Ability to multitask in a high paced environment to get the job done.
* Understanding of the local trade industry a plus.
* Must be able to work full time.
