o Continually monitors the front door, check all incoming/out coming traffic of clients, visitors and staff.
o Ensure clients log in and out and that incidents and activity is documented and that facility and outside courtyards are patrolled frequently or as scheduled. This includes halls, stairs, and public bathrooms.
o Disburse Resident Correspondence
o Clear public areas of loitering residents and attend mandated in-service training programs and meetings
o Quality Assurance via hourly rove of facility and documentation
o Execute safety protocol of residents when required via emergency protocol
o Participate in monthly fire drills
o Attend monthly staff meetings 9pm each 1st Sunday of the month
o Assist in the discharge process of residents when applicable.
**Applicants must have current eight and sixteen hour New York State Security License, NYS Fire and Safety Certifications preferred
*Applicants must be maintaining sobriety of illicit drugs and alcohol to be considered for this position. Verification and testing may be required
*Possess excellent verbal and written skills
