Position Summary:
FolioDynamix is seeking a Business Analyst to expand upon their knowledge on a broad range of financial services technology, who is able to play a dual role of Performance Analyst and Second Level Production Support on the full suite of functions within the FolioDynamix Accounting, Trading and Performance Platform.
Responsibilities:

Daily Performance Diagnostics and Monthly Diagnostics
? Review portfolio holdings, transactions, security pricing, security setup, accruals and other factors contributing to investment performance at the asset/subclass/class levels for assigned accounts and composites/relationships.
? Verifies accuracy of all portfolio (including underlying portfolio accounting, security holdings and calculations) and benchmark performance results and monitors performance trends. Analyze results and make adjustments as needed based on research.
? Responsible for daily monitoring of performance exceptions. Responds to client requests for issue resolution.
? Identify potential performance reporting/calculation issues and provide analysis around the corrective resolution

? Create business and technical requirements for any bug fixes or enhancements required to the performance reporting engine
Production Support
? Provide second level application support of issues raised across the full suite of FDx Tools from initial issue triage through analysis, troubleshooting, resolution.
? Gather requirements for issue and input into internal tracking system.
? Participate in application releases, from requirements, development, testing and deployment
? Work closely with Productions Support, QA and Development teams for bug tracking and resolutions

Qualifications:
? Entry level to five years of performance measurement experience.
? Understanding of TWR and DWR performance calculation methods and of impacts of asset classifications, holdings, transactions, and pricing on portfolio performance.
? Strong understanding of portfolio accounting along with the nuances of equity, fixed income, mutual fund, and options characteristics
? Strong MS Excel, MS Access
? Basic knowledge of SQL and Unix shell scripting including a plus
? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong business and data analysis skills
? Ability to work in a very fast-paced, high-stress position
? Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
? 3+ years of experience in financial software or financial services

Compensation dependent on experience

Contract or Full-time (FT preferred)
