Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
? Assist in the classroom under the direction of the Teacher or Assistant Teacher.
? May be assigned as one-on-one aides to a child with special needs or a small group to carry out lesson of the day.
? Assist in routine activities of the classroom.
? Attend to the personal care of children (i.e. diaper changing, meal and snack preparation).
? Assess the developmental needs of children on a timely basis and plan activities to meet the child's individual needs.
? Associates Degree preferably in Early Childhood but flexible.
Qualifications/Requirements:
? A desire to work with children.
? Must be organized and is able to multi-task.
? Must be soft spoken, friendly, patient and use positive behavior when communicating with children and parents.
