Help Desk/Desk-side Technician (Midtown)

Job Description -- Remote Support Specialist:
The Remote Support Specialist position includes troubleshooting desktop OS and applications, working directly with end-users via telephone, remote control, email and in person. It includes maintaining customer network documentation. The majority of the work will be done remotely from our office in midtown, with some work being done at client sites.

Hours:
This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with an expectation that after-hours work may be required

Compensation:
Based on experience.

Qualifications:
- At least 1 year remote support or field support experience required.
- A+ or Network+ certification strongly preferred.
- Clear written and verbal communication required.
- Experience in a technical service environment providing service to multiple clients preferred.
- Insurable driving record & current driver license required.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support both remotely and on-site on hardware, software and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot network problems at the desktop level
- Set up PCs, install applications
- Efficiently manage service tickets
- Assume small projects above and beyond technical phone support
- Email and network ID administration (create users, mailboxes, in active directory and share groups)
- Setup access for business applications
