Chinese Cook and Residence Advisor (Staten Island)

More infoWe're seeking mature, outgoing people to work as full-time, live-in Chinese cook and resident advisors to co-supervise a group of Chinese private high school students for the 2012-2013 academic year. In addition to receiving a salary, the RA will live rent- and board-free in the same dorm where the students are housed.

Responsibilities of the position include:
- providing variety of healthy Chinese food, mostly breakfast and dinners;
- provide supervision to the students;
- organizing activities and outings
- holistic emotional support

Qualifications:
In addition, international experience and/or an appreciation for cross-cultural dialogue and interaction are pluses. We are recruiting and hiring only carefully vetted, mature, caring, enthusiastic adults of outstanding moral character, who can help create a safe and welcoming environment for these teens. Ability to speak Chinese or experience working in China a plus.
