A leading luxury retailer in Men's and Boys' swimwear and beachwear seeks experienced candidates for full time wholesale position at our corporate office/showroom in New York City. Responsibilities
Maintain relationships with around 100 doors - including top tier department stores and key specialty stores.
Develop relationship with all cross?functional levels to establish strong working partnership and effective communication (buying office, sales teams, DSA. . .etc.)
Assist with Master Franchise business in the Americas
Prepare all marketing/selling material for markets. Schedule and attend all market appointments. Present new collections to buyers.
Enter and confirm orders for all the Americas accounts.
Contribute to the negotiation of merchandising standards to reach ideal display image, manage installation for shop?in?shop account and work with client visual teams to accomplish all merchandising project goals.
Conduct staff seminars to train sales associates on new products and collections, create seminar training material.
Develop marketing tools and contribute to the organization of marketing programs.
Manage, train, and delegate tasks to assistants and interns.
Encourage increased sales with final goal of SIS for all accounts in mind.
Conduct sales report analysis for all US accounts. Utilize retail math to analyze weekly selling reports for all accounts. Conduct comparison analysis to LY and forecast. Trend sales among different regions.
Mold future orders by determining best and worst selling items to increase profit margins and maximize sales.
Handle shipping and logistics for accounts with logistics manager and wholesale assistant including communication to accounts about PO, start/cancel dates, EDI, charge backs. . .etc.
Manage Showroom -- merchandising and inventory. Oversee sample management process with assistant.
Develop a financial understanding of key performance indicators.
Job Requirements:
? Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
? Bachelor's Degree
? Must be pro-active and take initiative
? Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
? Strong organizational skills and follow up skills with attention to detail
? Ability to be flexible in prioritizing and multi-tasking
? Strong creativity
