Qualifications
? Masters degree, dual certification, Elementary Ed. K-5 & Special Education
? Classroom teaching experience
? Able to develop fluent readers and thinkers, interdisciplinary teaching strategies
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Commitment to performance based accountability
? Able to develop comprehensive monthly assessments in all subject areas
? Demonstrated success in moving students to the highest performance, Levers 3 & 4
? Knowledge and experience teaching character education
? A collaborative manner with colleagues.
? Committed to true excellence, strong liberal arts background

Responsibilities
? Apply Bloom's taxonomy throughout the curriculum
? Implement the NYS Core standards assess growth in six week test cycles
? Model lessons, develop instructional groups based on assessment results to differentiate instruction
? Ongoing communication with parents on student performance
? Development of six week assessments and parent packets on assessments
? Willing and able to collaborate with grade level teachers on improving practice
