More infoA busy television facility is seeking a freelance operator to help coordinate and manage video transmissions including playouts and studio operations across a global network. The ideal candidate should possess experience and/or interest in the following:
? Routing and monitoring video transmissions from origin to destination
? Understanding different encoding/decoding data streams, bandwidths, and tape formats
? Lighting and preparing talent for live crosses
? Scheduling and coordinating various video feeds with clients
? Ability to act quickly and accordingly when time sensitive material must be acquired
? Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in media or related fields
Training in the various gear and equipment will commence once we find the right candidate. An interest in the technical side of television is preferred and we can be flexible with your schedule. Looking for someone to work 1-2 half days a week.
