Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Safely, efficiently and effectively operate assigned production machinery equipment monitoring quality, production and waste adhering to all customer specifications.
? Observe and adhere to all safety guidelines
? Make mechanical machinery adjustments as required
? Successfully correct web breaks
? Monitor all quality requirements as outlined by company procedure and specification.
? Effectively observe and judge color.
? Ensure product produced meets the quality requirements as defined by Quality Assurance.
? Troubleshoot and solve printing problems.
? Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
? Four Color process, Ink Mixing, Plate mounting experience a plus.
? Strong knowledge of Mark Andy Flexo printing presses.
? Electrical & mechanical knowledge are required.
? Needs a good understanding of ink composition and the ability to mix inks to match PMS samples. Location: Hauppauge NYCompensation: TBDPrincipals only.
