Associate Engineer (Fresh Graduate - Contracting Position) (Telecommuting)

Primary responsibilities include managing SAN storage & SAN fabric, and perform storage data migration from old SAN storage to new SAN storage. You do not need to have any prior experience in storage (although it would be helpful) and you will be trained. We are looking for an energetic individual who is hungry for knowledge and keen to learn the storage systems knowledge. This position is perfect for an entry level person or fresh college graduate. We are looking for a quick learner that can multitask and perform projects under tight deadlines. You also need to be able to work under little supervision and be a team player.

Associate Engineer will work as part of a team to conduct technical project specific tasks that may include but not be limited to:
? Assist in gathering, documenting and analyze system requirements
? Assist in the development of the overall technical solution
? Install/Configure/Troubleshoot/Support technical solutions as designed in a production environment.
? Document installation/configuration information
? Develop, Document, Perform test cases and scenarios
? Provide escalation support to customers and other contractors
? Serve as technical liaison to other vendors providing hardware/software/integration services
? Provide status reports to Project Manager
? Travel 35%

Requirements:
? 4-year degree from an accredited College/University.
? Computer hardware or software background is a plus.
? Exceptional attention to detail.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
? SAN Storage experience/certification plus.
? SAN Fabric experience/certification plus.
? NAS Storage experience/certification plus.
? UNIX experience/certification plus.
? Windows experience/certification plus.
