After School Assistant Teacher at 82nd Street Academics (Jackson Heights, NY)

The successful candidate(s) must:
? be a high school graduate
? have related college education and/or previous related experience
? be able to accurately correct homework for the grades listed above
? be able to relate to students and families in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner
? be able to multi-task without taking away from quality of work
? be positive; creative; organized; and self-motivated
? have leadership skills to direct a group of 10-15 children
? be available Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:30 pm (prompt and reliable attendance is extremely important)
