? You will diagnose bugs by stepping through code to locate the source of a problem and fix it.
? Determine or recommend software changes
? Document technical issues through incident tracking and submission of software defect/enhancement requests
? Work on data conversion projects
? Build or modify reports
? Develop, maintain and enhance Source Control and Software Build process
? Author technical documents, such as user manuals, FAQs and new product releases
? Contact software vendors that we interface with and diagnose and resolve issues
? You will sometimes need to diagnose simple network support issues for our clients who remotely run applications on our servers
? Provide high-quality support to users
REQUIREMENTS:
? Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
? College graduate
? Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (Administration & Development)
? Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services or another report writing tool
? X12 EDI formats (837, 835), Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and VB.Net Programming all a big plus
? Microsoft Access and/or VBA a plus
? Familiarity with source code control software and configuration
? Capacity to assess impact of customer-user feedback on project/product requirements
? Understand and manage evolving client expectations and support issues
? Comfortable troubleshooting over the phone and using remote desktop sharing utilities
? Ability to manage and track time for multiple projects simultaneously is crucial
? Prioritize effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
? Work independently with minimal oversight and likewise as a team-player
? Be willing to work during non-business hours and participate in an On-Call Schedule
